Join us for a new free webinar on September 17th diving into the impact of health policy changes for youth leaving the justice system!
Policy changes that offer youth and young adults Medicaid and CHIP-covered services during reentry offer an important opportunity to support the health and safety of youth and communities. Many people are eager to learn from the first group of states implementing these policies in their justice and health systems. In their recent paper, “Improving Health and Safety as Youth and Young Adults Leave the Justice System: State Implementation of Policies to Strengthen Continuity of Care at Reentry,” the Health and Reentry Project (HARP) delves into the impact these health policies can have on youth, and examines the work underway in New Mexico, Massachusetts, and North Carolina, with a focus on juvenile justice system implementation.
Join us for a free webinar on 9/17 to learn more about the role that these continuity of care policies can play in improving health and safety outcomes for youth and implementation practices and lessons learned from Massachusetts’ early implementation in the juvenile justice system.
