The Youth in Custody Certificate Program shines a light on the complex and serious needs of youth in facilities, serving as a venue for leaders to develop capacityeffectuate change, and begin or accelerate system improvements to better serve this population.  The hybrid training provides an interactive and dynamic learning environment with instruction from national experts on cutting edge ideas, policies and practices from across the country.   • Integrate research-based best practices around culture change and leadership
  • Utilize evidence-based tools to assess youth’s risks and develop individualized case plans
  • Create supportive positive relationships between and among staff and youth
  • Learn how the facility’s physical environment can be shaped to  deliver effective programming and treatment
  • Dive into practical strength-based approaches and re-entry support

The focus of this workshop is on real‑world application. Participants will analyze root causes of their own partnership challenges and develop concrete strategies to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals that promote youth well-being and long-term success.
