New Publication Alert! What Works for Youth Involved in Both the Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice Systems

We are so proud to announce that our own Deputy Director for Research, Dr. Karen Kolivoski, has has had a new book chapter published in The Wiley Handbook of What Works with Adolescents Who Have Offended: Theory, Research, and Practice.
Co-authored with Dr. Sherri Simmons-Horton, What Works for Youth Involved in Both the Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice Systems, focuses on youth involved in both the child welfare and youth justice systems, reviews what is known about this population, and underscores the importance of coordinated, developmentally responsive, and system-level approaches to supporting youth whose needs span multiple systems.

This research is critical as we continue our multi-system work with child welfare and youth legal systems through our Crossover Youth Practice Model (CYPM).
