We were so happy to meet with Kentucky’s Subcommittee for Equity and Justice for All Youth (SEJAY) in Louisville last week alongside Pastor Edward Palmer to offer training and technical assistance. The SEJAY subcommittee falls under Kentucky’s Juvenile Justice Advisory Board (JJAB), and focuses on compliance with the racial and ethnic disparity component of the JJDPA by tracking disparities and advocating for system improvements.

A big thanks to Tara Kelly, Kentucky’s R/ED Coordinator and Dr. Deonte Hollowell, SEJAY’s Chair, for helping coordinate our visit! Tara and Dr. Hollowell do tremendous work on behalf of the kids, families, and communities in Kentucky!
