Anya Satyawadi

Anya Satyawadi is a Project Coordinator with the Center for Youth Justice at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. In this role, she supports the development and execution of the Center’s Certificate Programs, which bring together leaders from across the country to drive meaningful reforms in youth justice systems. She works closely with staff and subject matter experts to coordinate program logistics, support curriculum development, and help deliver trainings.
Prior to joining the Center for Youth Justice, Anya worked at Georgetown University Law Center’s Center for Innovations in Community Safety, where she supported a law enforcement training program and contributed to research and program operations focused on public safety and alternative response systems. She also brings experience from the Brennan Center for Justice, where she conducted mixed-methods research and analysis on criminal justice reform, including work on a national study of misdemeanor enforcement trends.
Anya’s background combines policy research, program management, and data analysis, with a focus on advancing equitable and effective justice systems. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Business Analytics at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, building on her interest in using data to inform policy and practice. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in History and Environment from the University of Michigan.
She is passionate about supporting cross-sector collaboration and helping translate research into real-world impact for youth, families, and communities. In her time outside of work, Anya loves to try new restaurants in DC, go spinning, and watch the latest reality tv shows.
